NATO ACT

On 07-08 June 2023, NATO ACT will celebrate its 20th Anniversary at the Headquarters in Norfolk, US.

To emphasize the importance of nurturing the talent and embracing the vision of the youth, HQ Supreme Allied Commander Transformation (HQ SACT) and the International Staff Political Affairs and Security Policy Division (IS PASP) will engage tomorrow’s leaders by launching a “NATO Transformation – Student Challenge”.

This challenge aims to stimulate students to research NATO and think about practical implications of emerging and disruptive technologies on the Alliance.

The organizers are inviting students from across Euro Atlantic area and MENA region to record their answer to the following question: “How do emerging and disruptive technologies impact the transformation of NATO?”

Students offering the best answers will be asked to develop a short policy paper elaborating on their proposal and invited to discuss them with the most senior NATO leaders at the NATO ACT 20th Anniversary.

All students currently enrolled in academic programs in UNIMED member universities can participate in this initiative. The proof of enrollment will be requested at a later stage.

The deadline for video submissions is 17 March 2023.

Here you can find all the useful information to access the Student Challenge platform and in attachment you will find the call in English and French.
